'Memory' Moments

A quick follow up to yesterday's Post...

Megan phoned me today knowing that I would be super excited about some news she shared with me. I decided to ask her if she had read yesterday's Post as the information had come from her. I was surprised to learn that she had. My writing is very much for my own benefit; I do not want the family to feel pressured into reading my 'rantings.' Time for that when I am no longer around and they have unanswered questions about this person they know only as Mum or Ma.

I asked Megan if I had 'got it right?' She agreed that was pretty much what had been said. I went on to explain that 'things' were not always 'perfect' in my life and she may be surprised to learn this when reading the letters.

Her response brought tears to my eyes. She said 'Mum, I understand that you and Dad were not always perfect but your love was.

Touche sweetheart.

These past two posts have been such a beautiful thing for you to share, and I am so happy to hear the letters are wanted so very much by Meg.
Thank you for sharing this happiness.

Kaz, the letters are still here. The container is dust covered but that will change tomorrow when I ask Haydn to bring it up from the garage. It is all good my friend. Hugs xo

Alli maybe it is time to think about 'sharing' some of the letters here.
Thank you for your lovely Post and the reminder to search for the things we are 'passionate' about.
So glad we chatted.
Hugs xo

Thanks Starry. Must admit, it has been a long time since doing consecutive posts. I have enjoyed my conversations with Megs and think it has been good for both of us. She has always said she is grateful to have been raised in a home with so much love.
Thank you for your sweet words. Love Chez xo
